The position is primarily concerned with the following:
- Identifying training needs within the internal population and then devising and implementing a range of store and classroom-based training programs.
- Training retail teams in all aspects of their roles, ensuring timely follow up on training needs, the continual review of training materials and processes and the overall delivery of a commercial and effective training strategy.
Supporting the Regional Manager, the role is heavily involved in the day to day operation of the business and will appeal to candidates with a strong communication style and a belief in the efficacy of the training function to produce tangible commercial results.
Interested candidates will have:
- A depth of previous relevant training experience together with some formal qualification relating to training and personal development.
- Be a strong influencer and communicator, passionate about the commercial impact the role can have and be confident in being able to provide a lead to a large geographical region with a wide variety of training and development needs.
This is an immediately challenging position but it is also expected that this role plays a business-critical part in the medium- and long-term growth of the company. Candidates with ambition to grow their experience and their career accordingly are particularly sought after. The role will cover a region covering London and the South of England and candidates are required to be currently based on area.
